David Ferguson: Music

I wrote this in the car, returning from an art show at the Autry Museum. The “A” and “B” sections just sort of showed up in my head, and, like iron filings on a magnet every time I went over a bump they sort of rearranged themselves and by the time I got home the song was finished. I wanted the “C” section to be loose so I didn't think about what I was going to play till the day before we recorded it. I play it first on the archtop and Robert plays it second on his Gibson, only this time he used mics and not the pickup.
