David Ferguson
David Ferguson is a man best described as a jack of all trades. The good news is he's master of just about all of them. Equally at home playing Chet Atkins style, classical, swing, country, jazz, blues or rock, he's been a featured bluegrass guitarist with Tom Corbett for the last 5 years.
In 1986 Hal Leonard published David's first book, Country Fingerpicking, and followed the next year with Fingerstyle Blues. David is currently working on a series of fingerstyle books demonstrating his considerable skill as an arranger and spotlighting the best composers of the 30s and 40s.
He has been a very popular teacher for the last 3 decades and divides his time between teaching (he usually keeps about 40 students), playing with the Tom Corbett band and performing as a solo guitarist.
